Giverny in Bloom was born from my time in Giverny in spring 2026, when irises and garden flowers seemed to fill the landscape with colour.
Rather than recreating the garden literally, I followed its rhythm and energy. Broad, expressive brushstrokes and layered passages of blue, yellow, pink, violet and green allow the flowers to move between recognition and abstraction. The composition feels abundant and immersive, as though the garden continues beyond the edges of the canvas.
Inspired by Giverny and Impressionism, this original contemporary floral painting captures the joyful intensity of a garden at the height of its bloom — vibrant, spontaneous and alive.
