Description
Your Dress Smelled of Roses was inspired by my visit to Giverny, France, in spring 2026. I wanted to capture not a specific view, but the feeling of being surrounded by blooming fields, soft air and colour everywhere. Pink flowers, fresh greens, turquoise and white move through the canvas like a garden remembered through emotion.
The title came from the idea of someone walking through the flowers, their dress gently touching the petals and carrying the scent of roses. This original semi-abstract floral painting is about memory, spring light and that quiet moment when a landscape stays with you long after you leave.
